House in Oñati

Hello dear readers. Once again I must apologize for being absent for a week or so. I haven't been very inspired lately. So sorry. But here I have a house in a town called Oñati located in the north of Spain. Hope you like it.
Have a happy weekend!

  2. Kifus,
You've been missed, but I completely understand as I've gone through a dry spell of inspiration myself. This house is amazing. I love the white washed beams and stone wall. The decor is so light and airy.
Is this a region that enjoys warm weather year round?
    xo,

    1. No Karen, this is in the Basque region of Spain....The Basques are espanol and french mixed...
They have the definite four seasons....this town is
beautiful, surrounded by forest and the very high
Pyreenes mountains.....a population of 11,000 currently. I believe i heard once before, the great
Pyreenes are higher then the Swiss alps...Of course
the Pyreenes are alps, and the many Fjords found in the northern part of Spain are abundant. The Sea of the Cantabria is another note of importance. Located in the North. Beautifully majestic and well known for its exquiste seafood. Nothing like it. Sel...

every time. At times we all go into a dry spell and it
is well understood....but never give up on what you do.

By the way, the leather containers used in the bathroom, do you know where they come from? thank you, Sel..from

  5. Breathtaking home! I'd stay more outside on the wonderful terraces then inside this home, what a mighty panoramas! A view into paradise. Great to live there, although I would change some indoor decorations into more rough and natural materials. Wonderful post dear Kifus!
